Why I do What I Do



I’ve always been fascinated by people—what motivates them, what excites them, and what helps them grow. For 25 years, I built a career in Human Resources and Leadership Development, coaching new grads, guiding senior executives, and helping teams achieve their goals. One of my greatest joys has been seeing the long-term impact of leadership growth—like greeting leaders I once hired in entry-level roles who are now Directors and Executives. I’ve helped teams transform culture and engagement, raising one hotel’s employee score from 78% to 91% in just two years. These moments affirmed what I believe: when leaders grow, organizations thrive. My own lightbulb moment came when I worked with a coach. That experience inspired me to earn a Graduate Certificate in Executive & Professional Coaching, an M.S. in Leadership & Organizational Development, and my ICF coaching credentials—then launch my own business. What sets my approach apart? I’ve lived every stage of leadership, from frontline manager to executive. I understand the challenges at each transition and meet leaders where they are. Having worked across Canada, the U.S., and internationally, I bring a deep appreciation for different leadership styles and workplace cultures. Clients often tell me, “It’s like you’ve always been here.” Today, I help leaders get clear and intentional about their next career move, create action plans that drive results, and support organizations in building stronger leadership and more connected teams. As a facilitator and executive coach, I know firsthand what it’s like to be a busy executive with ambitious goals but no clear path to doing things differently. That’s why I help leadership teams break out of old patterns, strengthen their connections, and align their goals—so they can win together. Using the Synergy Stack framework, I lead interactive and experiential workshops focused on connection, clarity, curiosity, and commitment. Whether it’s strategic planning, project kickoffs, or leadership development, I create a space where teams can simplify complex dynamics, think differently, and take action. I’ve worked with executive teams to break down silos, spark creativity, and develop habits that drive long-term success. In one workshop, I guided a leadership team through a curiosity and creativity exercise that helped them challenge old ways of thinking and design a bold vision for 2025.
